DISCO

Ok on Thursday night there is going to be a disco and the theme is FLUORO, me and my friend Savannah are going to design our own t-shirt with all these fluoro bits on it. I am going to wear a fluoro pink singlet with a black singlet underneath and my mini jean shorts with fluoro pink tights underneath and one more thing I am wearing my gangstered shoes with flouro green and pink laces. It is going to be so AWESOME.

Metaphors and similes

My class and I have been looking at Metaphors and Similes and we are learning to use them in poems. What is a Metaphor- A Metaphor is when you use two Nouns and compare or contrast them to one another. I.E.. life is a Journey. what is a Simile. A simile is a comparison that show two things that are not alike in most ways are similar in one important way. Similes use the words "like and as"to make the connection between the two things being compared. Here is my poem with 1 Simile and 1 Metaphor.
